Working as an institutional cleaner in a hospital
In hospital work, institutional cleaners (välinehuoltaja, sairaala) participate in cleaning tasks in the hospital maintenance and institutional hygiene services. The duties may also include assistive food service tasks and other institutional hygiene services.
Aseptic working practices are essential in hospital cleaning in order to prevent the spread of microbes. Institutional cleaners must master the criteria for a high level of hygiene.
At Seure, an institutional cleaner’s work mostly consists of gigs, lasting from one day to a few days. Shifts take place on weekday mornings and evenings, but weekend shifts are also available.
Gigs are available regularly throughout the year. We require institutional cleaners to have similar previous work experience or training in the field.
