"Sujuvasti suomalaiseen työelämään" (Easy entrance to Finnish Working Life) project
The purpose of the project is to create a model of advisory services for the foreign employees and their recruiters in the organisations taking part in the project. The Polku advisory service, which is being developed in the project, supports foreigners who are moving to Finland and foreigners already living in Finland, along with assistance in their practical settling down and their feeling at home in the metropolitan area.
Project procedures:
- supporting employees in the departure country
- relocation services for employees upon arrival in Finland
- personal support throughout the duration of the employment
- support for employers when recruiting foreigners, throughout the entire recruiting process
The "Sujuvasti suomalaiseen työelämään" (Easy entrance to Finnish Working Life) project is organised by Seure Henkilöstöpalvelut. The co-operation partners in the project are the owners of Seure and the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa and Espoo. The project is funded by the European Social Fund and by the owner cities of Seure.
The project was started on 17 November 2008 and will operate until 31 December 2010. The goal is for the developed service to become a stationary part of the participating organisations' activities.
